Our phone lines tend to stay pretty busy, and we can't stay awake 24-hours a day, so we offer several different methods for placing an order:

Custom Orders
To order Tutus and other custom work
For all custom items, including tutus, practice tutus, plates, overlays, dresses, tunics, or any other custom piece, please call us at 1.704.542.2433 (Charlotte, NC, USA).
These items require specific information that will be unique to your one-of-a-kind costume.
We use 'best-way' shipping for tutus and custom pieces.
Tutus in particular may require special handling, packing, insurance, etc.
Shipping rates for custom items will vary, depending on the piece and your delivery requirements.
You will be given a shipping rate when you place your custom order.

Payment Methods
We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover Card, American Express, Money-Order, Certified-Check, or personal or company check, in US dollars only.
Please do NOT send cash.
And please DO NOT email your credit card number! Email is never secure!
Submit Your Credit-Card Info On-Line
You can submit your credit-card info On-Line to our Secure Server.
Your information is completely encrypted and double-password-protected.
We retrieve the information several times each day, then delete all information immediately after retrieval.
Submit a Payment On-Line via PayPal
You may make a Secure Payment using PayPal - we are PayPal Verified!
You do NOT need to register with PayPal to use this service.
(BUT, in the event we need to issue a refund or partial-refund, an un-registered user may never receive it).
Use the PayPal 'Request for Funds' Feature
Provide us with your registered PayPal-ID or an email address, and after we review your order, we will send you a 'Request for Funds' invoice.
You do NOT need to register with PayPal to use this service.
BUT, you should be aware that certain 'spam filters' may automatically block or delete our 'Request'.
Special PayPal Notes:
ALL PayPal Users should review our policies regarding Payments Made via PayPal.
All orders paid using a PayPal E-Check will be held until the payment clears from your checking account (this typically takes 4 to 10 days).
Submit Your Credit-Card Info 'Off-Line'

and let us know the following information:
- Date of Order
- Ship-To Name on the order
- the Name on the Credit-Card
- the Credit-Card Number
- the Credit-Card Expiration Date
- the Card Identification Number - (What is This?) (new window)
- unless you submit the Billing-Information Form available from the Submit Payment page, we will also need your COMPLETE and EXACT Statement-Billing information
(the name and address to which the credit-card company sends your statement).
NOTE: Incomplete or incorrect billing-info will delay processing of your order.
You can do this any time day or night.
Our voice-mail and fax machine are in secure locations and password protected.
Send a Check
USA customers may send a Money-Order, a Certified/Cashiers Check, or a personal or company bank-check.
USA customers paying by personal or company bank-check MUST include the signer's Name, Drivers License Number and State, and day and night telephone-contact numbers, or your payment will be returned to you.
Allow an additional 10 business-days from the time we receive your check before we ship your order.
NOTE: All Returned Checks are subject to a MINIMUM $25.00 Service Charge BEFORE your order will be shipped.
International customers must send an International Money-Order or a Certified/Cashiers Check, in US funds only.
All checks and money-orders should be made payable to Tutu.Com.

Because every custom order is exactly that - Custom - our On-Line Order Form is not really suitable for these orders.
You may still make a deposit, partial-payment, or full payment using any of the above options.

Shipping Information

We strive to ship within 48 hours of your order
(most merchandise orders received by 12:00-Noon U.S. Eastern time Monday through Friday are shipped within 24 hours of receipt).
This does not include custom items, of course, which require a lead time and are shipped when completed.
Also, orders which include fabric-cuts or custom-dying may require an additional 1 to 2 days.
If you need a rush order, let us know - we will make every effort to ship it ASAP.
Please note: during our busiest costume/sewing seasons and while we are teaching costuming seminars, all orders will be slightly delayed.
All orders are shipped FOB Charlotte, NC USA.
Unless otherwise requested, orders shipped within the US, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and most US Territories and Military addresses, are sent via USPS Domestic Priority Mail (2-4 day) with Delivery Confirmation.
This has proven to be one of the quickest, safest, and cheapest methods we've found.
Your order is typically delivered to you within 2 to 4 days after shipping.
Unless otherwise requested, 'Overnight' orders shipped within the U.S. are sent via USPS Express Mail (1-2 day).
Your order is typically delivered to you within 2 days, usually within 1 day, depending on routing, airports, local scheduling, etc.
Unless otherwise requested, orders shipped to most destinations outside the United States are sent via USPS Express Mail International.
Again, this has proven to be one of the quickest and safest methods we've found.
Express Mail International is faster than Priority Mail International, provides much better tracking information, and may pass through your country's Customs quicker.
Delivery times are dependent on your local postal service.
USPS Global Express Guaranteed, UPS, and Federal Express, 'overnight', etc. are available at an additional charge - call for rates and details.
Please note, if paying by check you should allow an additional 10 to 14 days for delivery.
Customs Information for International Customers:
Our shipping rates do NOT include any Customs Charges that may be imposed by your country's Customs regulations.
Delivery may be delayed by your country's Customs regulations.
The Customs Form we provide WILL indicate the nature of the merchandise in your package.
We WILL NOT provide a fraudulent Customs Form ('gift', 'sample', 'medical supplies' etc).

Hours of Operation
We are normally available 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday, U.S. Eastern Time, and 10:00am to 4:00pm on Saturday, U.S. Eastern Time.
We are occasionally closed to observe certain US holidays, and we are closed during the US Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.

Pricing
All prices shown on these pages are in US dollars (USD).
All prices are subject to change without notice.
We strive to keep our prices 20% to 30% below manufacturer's suggested retail and catalog retail prices at all times.
However, price changes by our suppliers may occur before we are able to change our published prices.
There is no minimum order amount.
Customs Information for International Customers:

Tutu.Com and Get The Pointe Dancewear Catalogs
Currently, our entire 'catalog' is online, although we are working to produce a set of paper catalogs.
Please let us know if you would like to be added to our mailing list to receive the catalogs when they are available.
The Tutu.Com catalog will include information on our custom costumes and accessories, our books and patterns, costuming materials including fabric, notions, and costumer's specialty items, rhinestones, costuming kits, and our hands-on 'how-to' seminars.
The Get The Pointe Dancewear catalog will include information on our full line of balletwear for women, men, and children, including pointe and ballet shoes, pointe accessories, tights, leotards, unitards, dance belts, dresses, skirts, warmups, dance accessories and much more.
You can request either or both catalogs using our Catalog Request Form.

Backorders
From time to time, we may be out of stock on an item, or manufacturers may not be able to keep up with demand.
If you order by phone, we can tell you our in-stock status at that time.
If you order by fax or mail, please specify on the order form how you want us to handle any out-of-stock items.
We can ship in-stock items only, we can immediately ship in-stock items and ship out-of-stock items when they arrive, we can hold the entire order until all items are in-stock.
Please note if we send your order in pieces, shipping fees will be charged on each shipment.

Privacy, Anti-Virus, and Legal Statements
Tutu.Com / Get The Pointe Dancewear does not share your name, address, email address, purchasing history, credit card information, or any other personal information with any business or person outside our company.
If you provide us an address and/or email address when you order from us, you are automatically added to our customer database, and may receive notices regarding various offers or promotions by us.
If you do not wish to receive such mailings, whether by regular mail or email, simply notify us at the time you place an order, or by email at tutuclub@aol.com, or by regular mail or phone.
Our email forms (Orders, Catalog Request, Measuring Chart, etc) collect only the information you provide, and do NOT retrieve or store any other information about you, your email address, your computer, or your connection.
We are very aware of the increasing volume of spam and virus-infected "hacker" email circulating on the web, and of the software that enables such malicious individuals to "spoof" the Sender's email address.
We have encountered many of the 'tricks' used by these criminals.
Our computer system is firewall-protected and scanned regularly with the latest anti-virus software.
We have done our best to hide or encrypt the email addresses by which we can be contacted as shown on this website.
But Please Note, Tutu.Com / Get The Pointe Dancewear NEVER sends unsolicited emails with attached-files or embedded pictures.
From time to time, a custom project may require that we exchange drawings or photos with you, but only with your permission, and never to a group or email-list.
