Fabrics - Nets & Tulles
A wide variety of first-quality Nets and Tulles, in a rainbow of colors, available by the yard and by the bolt.
The selection includes Standard Netting (crinoline, "Balanchine Net"), Horsehair Net,
Metallic Net, imported Italian Net, Domestic (USA) Tulle, Glimmer Tulle,
Sparkle Tulle, Enhanced Sparkle Tulle, Metallic Tulle, Illusion, imported Italian Tulle, Polyester Net,
and imported Micro-fibre Net.

Net & Tulle Color Chart
Imported Italian 'Esplosione' Tulle Color Chart
The charts are very rough and somewhat incomplete, and are meant to be used as very general guides only.
A few words (and caveats) about Net and Tulle standards:
We purchase Net and Tulle from several different manufacturers and mills.
Each manufacturer and mill has their own color chart and naming convention.
Even within one mill, dye lots of the same color may vary from shipment to shipment.
We have also found the stiffness and widths of the nets may vary from shipment to shipment, from mill to mill, and even from color to color.
We have no control over these factors - the mills are not always consistent in their widths or dye lots or color availability.
Classical Tutu Makers, to make a Classical Tutu 'stand-out flat':
The stiffer the net, the less of it you need to use - the softer the net, the more of it you need to use.
Stiffness is generally indicated by the denier (or tex) - higher usually means stiffer.
Tulle is softer than Tutu Net, and Horsehair Net is stiffer than Tutu Net.
Please be sure of the amount and color you need when you order.
Once cut, it's yours, and cannot be returned.

This is the tutu net everybody's looking for!
It is simply the best net available today, about 1/2-again stronger than our 40-denier Standard Tutu Net.
It pleats gorgeously!
Use it for the top layer of a Classical Tutu for a truly professional look -
you'll need 2-1/2 to 3 yards for a double-hand-pleated top-layer.

So, give us a call if you're looking for a costuming fabric or a color you don't see on these pages - if we don't have it, we can usually find it for you pretty quick.
(Minimum order amounts will depend on the fabric and the mill, and may range from a few yards to a full bolt.)
