Grishko's 'Elevé' model Pointe Shoes (2007, Elite, Maya, Ulanova-I, Ulanova-II) are designed for 'rolling through' demi-pointe. This is considered vital to lyrical adagios and enables control as you land a jump or pirouette. All Elevé models are quiet, light, and feature Grishko's 'super shank', which is pliable, resilient, and durable.
