A typical Gaynor Minden Regular-Fit shoe-size 'code' looks like:
A.A / B C - Dxx - E F, where

'A.A' = the Shoe Size (ex, 6.5)
'B' = the Shoe Width (ex, MED)
'C' = the Box Shape (ex, 3)
'Dxx' = the Shank Flexibility (ex, 1xx)
'E' = the Vamp Style (ex, 2)
'F' = the Heel Height (ex, 2)

The above example = 6.5 / MED 3-1xx-22, and describes a shoe:
Size 6-1/2, Medium Width, 3-Box, ExtraFlex Shank, Deep-Vamp, High-Heel

	B - Shoe Width NAR = Narrow MED = Medium WIDE = Wide
The Width size (above) and Box size (below) are provided separate in order to better accommodate dancers who have narrow heels but wide metatarsals.
	C - Box Shape 2 = Narrow Box 3 = Medium Box 4 = Wide Box
Shank Flexibility 5xx - Hard - For tall dancers with high arches 1xx - ExtraFlex - Firm, good for taller dancers and/or high arches 2xx - Supple - Good all-around shank for average dancers and/or moderate arches 4xx - Feather - Soft, very pliable, popular with professionals and petites 7xx - Pianissimo - Very soft, extremely pliable	D - Shank Flexibility 5xx - Hard 1xx - ExtraFlex (firm) 2xx - Supple (medium) 4xx - Feather (soft) 7xx - Pianissimo (very soft)
	E - Vamp Style 1 = Regular Vamp 2 = Deep Vamp (+ 1/4 inch) F - Heel Height 0 = Low Heel (- 1/4 inch) 1 = Regular Heel 2 = High Heel (+ 3/8 inch)
