Caveats, Instructions, and Explanations

Caveats:

• All files have been scanned for viruses prior to uploading using the latest Norton anti-virus definitions available.
• Our site is hosted on Earthlink/Mindspring UNIX servers, and is virtually invulnerable to unauthorized access.
• Every effort has been made to assure these files are as benign and correct as possible.

Instructions:

Download:

• Depending on your particular setup, your browser may or may not start and run the Adobe Acrobat Reader program.
  
  
• If your browser opens Acrobat Reader, wait for the document to completely load (be patient - this may take a few moments), then 'SAVE' the document (be sure to note where the file is saved).
• Use your browser's 'BACK' button to return to this page (again, be patient - this may also take a few moments).
• Use Acrobat Reader to view or print the file.
  
  
• If your browser opens the 'DOWNLOAD FILE' dialog, save the file to disk (be sure to note where the file is saved).
• Use Acrobat Reader to view and/or print the file.
  
  
• In either case, we suggest saving the file to the 'DESKTOP' folder for future ease of access.

Additional Information:

• To prevent your browser from automatically opening Acrobat Reader when downloading the files, turn off 'Web Browser Integration' on the Acrobat Reader 'Preferences' menu option.
• Your printer may not accomodate the margin settings on these files. We suggest you click the 'fit to page' setting in the Acrobat Reader 'Print...' window.
• Although PDF is a great format for sharing files among different programs and systems, we have found that graphics and fonts may not always translate correctly. The appearance of these files on your computer or printer may be somewhat different than our printed versions.
• Depending on the age, size, and configuration of your computer system, the latest version of Acrobat Reader may not load or run on your machine. You may need to find an older version - start looking at www.pdfzone.com or www.planetpdf.com. (We had to track down a copy of version 3 for the aging Win95 machine we use for testing with older browsers).
