These patterns have been developed over many years of costume design and construction, and are the same patterns Ms. Folts uses everyday in her own custom designs.

"Tutu 'Plate' Patterns"

A 'Plate' enables you to use a single Classical tutu for multiple roles.
It is a matching, blending, or contrasting piece of tutu net or other fabric, which is fully decorated for a particular role or color scheme and then tacked to the top layer of the tutu skirt.

The Harem Skirt is built on a basque, and combines a decorative top-skirt with a longer 2-layer under-skirt.

Faerie/Angel Wings Patterns
We offer 2 styles of Wings to choose from, in several sizes.
The patterns come with complete instructions for wiring, assembling, shaping, and attaching the wings,
as well as for making your own 'Jig'* on which to quickly and easily wire it all together.
The patterns are designed to use medium-weight millinery-wire to form the wing's basic frame.
Your fabric is then hand- or machine-stitched to the wire-frame.
If desired, the basic frame can easily be formed into other shapes before attaching the fabric.
Use glitter-glue and trims to decorate and finish the wings.
* A 'Jig' is a small piece of wood with nails hammered part-way into the wood in the shape of the wing.
It makes it extremely quick and easy to wire a set of wings, and can used over and over.
