Featuring a rounded low back, the diagonal-cut design is very slimming, and looks great on all body types.
The pattern provides an overall longer fit, with the bottom edge of the bodice fitting 2-inches below the natural waistline.

This is an exquisite and very classic pattern, though somewhat more difficult to assemble than our 6-, 8- or 10-piece patterns.
Inspired by one of Margot Fonteyn's costumes, the back is medium-low, and beautifully rounded below the shoulder blades to accentuate the upper-back and shoulders.
This bodice is cut longer to 'float' on top of the skirt, 3-1/2 to 4 inches below the natural waist.

"16-Piece Bodice Pattern", in Adult and Child sizes
Inspired by NYCB's 'Dewdrop' from "The Nutcracker", we've lengthened the line and re-designed the back to make it our own.
This is a very advanced pattern.
It is a long-line 'all-in-one' bodice/basque that can be stitched directly over the top layer of the skirt.
This bodice looks fabulous with Classical tutus and Romantic tutus.
Although available in a limited number of sizes, with this many pieces, it's very easy to adjust the pattern for the 'missing' sizes - just select the closest size.
